Proclamation Act of 1763
-The Royal Proclamation act of 1763 was issued October 7,1763, by King George III following Great Britian's acquisition of French territory in North America after the end of French territory and Indian war/seven years' war , which forbade all settlement past a line draw along the Appalachian Mountains..-British wanted to control colonies and impose taxes to pay for cost of war
-Act forbade colonists from moving to west
-Send 10000 soldiers to control the situation
-British was not in a position to afford another war
-Colonists ignored British order and moved for Islands

Boston Massarce
- The Boston Massarce, known as the incident on king street by the British, was an incident on March 5, 1770, in which British Army soldiers killed five male civilians and injured six others
Boston Tea Party
-Sons of liberty dump British tea. On this day in 1973, a group of Massachusetts colonists disguised as Mohwk Indians board three British tea ships moored in Boston Harbor and dump 342 Chests of tea into the water. Now known as the "Boston Tea Party" the midnight raid was a protest of the Tea Act of 1773
The Sons of liberty
The Sons of Liberty was an organization that was created in the Thirteen American Colonies. The secret society was formed to protect the rights of the colonists and to fight taxation by the British government. They played a major role in most colonies in battling the Stamp Act in 17Battles of laxington and Concord
-Patriots stored weapons in Concord
-British marched to Lexington to capture Samuels Adams and John Hancock, leaders of Sons of Liberty (17th April 1775)
-Sons of Liberty formed to stop collection of taxes. It included Paul revere and John Adams
-British attacked Concord to capture weapons of minutemen
{minutemen were volunteers fishermen, farmers & tradesmen}
